During Advent in the year 1531 the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to St. Juan Diego with a request, a message, and a wonderful, dramatic sign.

Come and reflect upon this miraculous event, Our Lady's words to Juan Diego, and the image itself. Every year at Christmas, we celebrate the immense love of God that moved Jesus not to abandon us in our misery, but to move right in with us, just as he wanted to do again by having a church built on Tepeyac hill. We will consider how the message of Guadalupe shares in the unquenchable joyfulness, hopefulness, and charm of the Christmas message itself.
